This Consignment Agreement and Liability Waiver ("Agreement") governs all items submitted to Mint City Collectibles for consignment.
By shipping, dropping off, or otherwise submitting items to Mint City Collectibles, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
1. Consignor Information
All consignments must include the following information inside the shipment:
- Full name
- Email address
- Telephone number
Shipments received without identifying information may experience delays in processing.
2. Eligible Items
Mint City Collectibles currently accepts graded Trading Card Game (TCG) cards only.
Accepted grading companies include:
Mint City Collectibles reserves the right to reject any item at its sole discretion.
3. Delivery of Items
Items may be:
- Shipped to Mint City Collectibles, or
- Dropped off in person at:

The consignor is responsible for properly packaging all shipped items. Mint City Collectibles is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from inadequate packaging or damage occurring before items are physically received.
4. Receipt of Items
Once a shipment has been received, Mint City Collectibles will provide an email confirmation within approximately 48 business hours.
Receipt confirmation acknowledges only that the shipment was received. It does not guarantee that all submitted items have been accepted for consignment.
5. Auction Process
Accepted items will be listed on eBay for a 7-day auction period.
Auction cycles generally begin and end on Sunday evenings.
All auctions will begin at $1.00. Auction reserves are not available.
By submitting items for consignment, the consignor acknowledges and accepts the risk that an item may sell for less than its estimated market value. Mint City Collectibles does not guarantee any minimum sale price.
6. Consignment Rates
Consignor payouts are determined by the final selling price of each item.

Percentages are calculated using the final auction sale price. Mint City Collectibles reserves the right to modify future consignment rates at any time. Any changes will not affect items already accepted for consignment.
7. Payment Terms
Once an item has sold and payment has been successfully collected from the buyer, Mint City Collectibles will initiate payment to the consignor via ACH transfer. Please allow up to 14 days for payment processing.
Mint City Collectibles may delay payment in circumstances including, but not limited to: buyer payment delays, fraud investigations, payment processing delays, or administrative reviews.
8. Ownership and Authority
By submitting items for consignment, you represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of the items, you have the legal authority to consign and sell the items, the items were lawfully obtained, and the items are free from liens, claims, or ownership disputes.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mint City Collectibles from any claims arising from disputes regarding ownership.
9. Authenticity, Alterations, and Counterfeit Items
The consignor is solely responsible for the authenticity of all submitted items. Mint City Collectibles does not independently authenticate, inspect, or guarantee the authenticity of any consigned item.
Mint City Collectibles reserves the right to reject, remove, or return any item believed to be counterfeit, altered, trimmed, recolored, restored, misrepresented, or fraudulent.
The consignor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Mint City Collectibles against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from the authenticity or condition of submitted items.
10. Limitation of Liability
Mint City Collectibles will exercise reasonable care while handling consigned items. However, Mint City Collectibles shall not be liable for losses resulting from theft, fire, flood, natural disasters, shipping carrier errors, mechanical failures, cybersecurity incidents, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Under no circumstances shall Mint City Collectibles' liability exceed the final amount paid by the buyer for the affected item.
11. Shipping Risk
The consignor assumes all risk of loss or damage until items are physically received by Mint City Collectibles. Return shipments requested by the consignor will be sent at the consignor's expense.
12. Abandoned Property
If Mint City Collectibles determines that an item cannot be listed, cannot be sold, is withdrawn from consignment, or must be returned, Mint City Collectibles will attempt to contact the consignor using the information provided.
If the consignor fails to respond within 90 days of the initial contact attempt, the consigned items shall be considered abandoned property and may be donated, liquidated, sold, or become the property of Mint City Collectibles.
13. No Guaranteed Sale Price
Mint City Collectibles makes no representations or guarantees regarding final auction prices, market value, future value, bidding activity, or the number of bids received. The trading card market is highly volatile, and all consignors assume the risk of market fluctuations.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By shipping, dropping off, or otherwise submitting items to Mint City Collectibles, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, you understand this Agreement, and you voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions.
